On Sunday, a mass wedding ceremony of 551 couples was held at the new agricultural produce market complex in Agar Malwa. More than two lakh people attended the event, leading to heavy crowding in the city from early morning. Over 551 priests from the Gayatri Parivar conducted the weddings with Vedic chants. Around 5,000 volunteers were deployed to manage arrangements, including guiding guests, handling wedding pavilions and serving food. Due to the large crowd, food arrangements faced some problems at a few places. The arrival of nearly 5,000 vehicles caused traffic congestion in Agar Malwa. However, traffic police managed the situation and brought traffic under control. 4 couples toured by helicopter
In the conference, a groom arrived at the wedding venue riding a bullock cart with his friends and relatives, which brought the traditional atmosphere to life. Additionally, 4 couples, including one with disabilities, were given a helicopter tour of the entire assembly constituency, which was praised as a special initiative.
