Traffic remained halted for a considerable time due to the incident. Firefighting teams arrive from two stations Upon receiving information, two fire tenders from Bairagarh and one from Fatehgarh Fire Station reached the site.
Firefighter Mubarak Ahmed from Bairagarh Station said the exact cause of the fire has not yet been determined. The blaze initially ignited in plywood and other materials used for beautification under the flyover. It then spread to the lighting poles above and was further aggravated by garbage lying on the road. The fire was extinguished within a short time.
