During this time, constable Anoop Yadav, who was standing nearby, started recording a video of his wife. When the patwari noticed this, he stopped the constable and tried to snatch the phone. At this, the constable slapped the patwari. The incident took place on Monday, November 24. The SP has attached the constable to the police lines. On Thursday, the Patwari Association warned of a protest and demanded that an FIR be registered against the constable. According to the information, on November 24, during the event, patwari Jalaj Mohan Tiwari was assigned duty at the exit gate of the ‘Bhandara’ venue. Action taken against constable Following the incident, the Superintendent of Police attached Constable Anoop Yadav to the line. However, Patwaris say this action is insufficient and allege that the constable acted out of personal animosity to humiliate the cadre publicly. Patwari union warns of indefinite strike On Thursday morning, Patwaris gathered at the Collectorate and raised slogans demanding strict action. The Patwari Union has called for an FIR to be registered against the constable under relevant sections. District President Bhagwat Singh Dangi submitted a written complaint to the Collector, stating that if an FIR is not lodged within two days, all Patwaris in Niwari district will stop work and launch an indefinite strike. The matter now awaits further administrative action.
