Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav reached the Govindpura Industrial Area in Bhopal to inaugurate Fed Expo-2025. During the event, he also hummed the famous film song “Mera Joota Hai Japani, Ye Patloon Englistani” in front of industrialists from Taiwan, Russia and Oman. Dr Yadav said that Taiwan’s fearlessness, Oman’s commitment and Russia’s friendship have been strong since the time of princes. He said Russia has shown true friendship many times, and this is a matter of pride for the state. He also spoke about cooperation in business. Earlier, he opened the expo at the GIA Exhibition Centre and welcomed foreign investors and other industrialists. He said the expo will help strengthen Madhya Pradesh’s relations with Russia, Oman and Taiwan once again. Land was not given to industrialists rather, they were invited to set up industries.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that we did not distribute 5,000 plots of land, but rather invited industrialists to set up industries. This is the year of industry. Therefore, investments worth 8 lakh crore rupees have been made through the Global Investors Summit, Industrial Conclave, and other mediums. Out of these, investments worth 6 lakh crore rupees have been implemented on the ground. Invitations have been extended for 2 lakh crore. Foreign investors are also being invited. This will bring prosperity to the state. In the coming time, a grand event will be organized with all industrial federations. CM Dr. Yadav also addressed several topics, including the Textiles Park. In Bhopal, the Fed Expo will run for the next two days, i.e., until November 23. More than 200 micro, small, and medium industrial units are showcasing their products in the three-day industrial exhibition. Also, representatives from several countries including Russia, Oman, and Taiwan are participating in it. Deepak Sharma, President of the Federation, stated that the objective of FED EXPO 2025 is to promote the spirit of ‘Make in India, Make for the World’. During this event, buyer-seller meetings, vendor development sessions, and industry-government dialogues are being organized. These will provide local entrepreneurs with direct contact opportunities with large industries and government undertakings. This time, a 10-member delegation from Russia and a 4-member delegation from Oman have also participated, while representatives from ASEAN and Middle Eastern countries have also arrived. Several public sector undertakings, including Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML), Railways, Bina Refinery, HEG, and defense establishments, are actively participating in the exhibition. Additionally, the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), State Bank of India (SBI), and other banking institutions are also included.
