SGSITS faces action after molestation complaint surfaces:HOD taken off charge as institute responds to student’s allegation and withdraws all teaching and examination responsibilities

After an incident with a student at SGSITS College in Indore, the HOD has been removed from administrative, teaching, and examination duties. After the student complained to the Director, the matter has been handed over to a committee. Now the committee will investigate the entire matter. However, the HOD has denied the allegations. Actually, on Thursday, a student at SGSITS College in Indore complained about HOD Sandeep Ghonghade to the college Director. The student stated in the complaint that she had gone to the cabin of Ghonghade, the HOD of the Electrical Department. During this time, when she explained her problem, the HOD put his hand on her waist and said that she had an year back, but he would pass her. This made the student panic, and she came out of the cabin crying. Meanwhile, another faculty member standing a little distance from the cabin was also surprised. Case Handed Over to Investigation Committee
After a complaint to the Director, the case has been handed over to an investigation committee. The committee will investigate the entire matter and submit its investigation report. It is being said that the committee will interrogate the concerned parties, as well as other students and faculty. Regarding the matter, College Director Professor Nitesh Purohit said that following the committee’s recommendation in this case, Sandeep Ghonghade has been removed from the post of HOD, and from academic and examination duties. Meanwhile, Acting Director Girish Thakar stated that the designated committee looking into this includes external members. The committee will investigate the entire matter. What we could do at the college level, we have done. On the other hand, when an attempt was made to get Sandeep Ghonghade’s side of the story, he did not answer the call.
