Bhopal Police have arrested a man for printing counterfeit currency inside his home. Fake notes worth ₹2.25 lakh were recovered along with the equipment used in producing them. The accused, who previously worked at a printing press, was using his skills to design and print fake notes. Police are now investigating how long he had been running the racket and to whom the fake currency was supplied. A team cordoned off the area and arrested him. During the search, 23 counterfeit Rs 500 notes were recovered from his possession.
The accused was identified as Vivek Yadav, a resident of Murli Nagar, Karond.
