The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has announced the final results of the State Services Examination 2023. Ajeet Mishra from Panna emerged as the topper, while Yashpal Swarnkar from Sagar secured third rank. Abhishek Jain from Damoh has been selected for the Deputy Collector post. Topper Ajeet Mishra previously served as Naib Tehsildar in Maihar Ajeet Kumar Mishra, the topper of MPPSC 2023, was serving as a Naib Tehsildar in Maihar before his recent success. He was posted to Maihar three to four months ago and carried out duties at the Collectorate office. Approximately 8–10 days ago, Mishra left for Gwalior for a one-month training program, temporarily stepping away from his official duties in Maihar. Shivani Rai from Vidisha selected as DSP Shivani Rai, hailing from Karaiya village in Ganjbasoda, Vidisha district, has been selected for the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) post. She is currently serving as District CEO in Betul. Earlier, she worked as a Patwari in Rewa district. Shivani’s father, Vinod Rai, is a farmer. She is the only girl from her village to have secured three government jobs simultaneously. Commenting on her success, Shivani said, “When we set a goal and work consistently towards it, success is certain.” Pankaj Jain from Sagar selected as Cooperative Extension Officer Pankaj Jain, son of Pawan Kumar Jain from Banda, has been selected for the post of Cooperative Extension Officer through the MPPSC examination. A total of 229 posts were advertised through this examination. The preliminary examination was followed by the main exam, held from March 11 to March 16, 2024. The results of the mains were released on December 30, 2024, and the interviews for selected candidates were conducted from July 7 to August 7, 2025. According to Dr. R. Panchbhai, OSD of MPPSC Indore, out of the 229 advertised posts, 197 candidates were selected, while 7 posts reserved for ex-servicemen remain vacant.
