Former CM Arjun Singh’s birth anniversary observed:CM Yadav offers floral tributes; evening event at Ravindra Bhavan

The birth anniversary of former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and senior Congress leader, late Arjun Singh, is being observed today with several events held in Bhopal. At the programme organized in the Central Hall of the State Assembly, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar, Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar, former Speaker Girish Gautam, MLAs Rameshwar Sharma and Bhagwandas Sabnani, along with Churhat MLA and former Leader of Opposition Ajay Singh’s family members, paid floral tribute to the late leader. Evening function at Ravindra Bhavan Later in the evening, the Arjun Singh Sadbhavana Manch will host a commemorative event titled “Yaadein Arjun Singh Samaroh” at Ravindra Bhavan.
Maharashtra Congress in-charge Ramesh Chennithala will be the chief guest, while Amethi MP Kishori Lal Sharma will preside over the function. Maharashtra’s former minister Arif Naseem Khan, Bhopal Central MLA Arif Masood, and North Bhopal MLA Atif Aqueel will attend as special guests.
Ajay Singh (Rahul Bhaiya), former Leader of Opposition and son of Arjun Singh, along with his elder brother Abhimanyu Singh, will welcome the dignitaries and express gratitude to them. Renowned poets and writers, including Tahir Faraz (Rampur), Popular Meeruthi (Meerut), Shakeel Azmi (Mumbai), Khurshid Haider (Muzaffarnagar), Nadeem Farrukh (Etah), Mumtaz Naseem (Delhi), Bilal Saharanpuri (Saharanpur), and Tabrez Munawwar Rana (Lucknow), will recite their works during the event.
