Artists from across the state will present traditional dances, tribal costumes, and local music performances celebrating the Abhyuday Madhya Pradesh theme. Alongside the stage events, exhibitions, a handicraft fair, and displays highlighting the artistic and cultural heritage of the state will be organized. Day 3 (November 3): Grand play on Emperor Vikramaditya On the final day, exhibitions and a food fair will open in the afternoon, followed by a mega theatrical performance — “Mahanatya Samrat Vikramaditya” — depicting the legendary ruler’s valor and sense of justice. Presented by Ujjain’s Vishala Cultural Committee, the grand play will feature 150 artists, live chariots, horses, and special LED graphics effects to recreate ancient India’s glory. The evening will conclude with a soulful performance by Mumbai-based singer Sneha Shankar, known for songs like “Chand Ke Tukde,” “Mera Mehboob,” and “Hakuna Matata.” Tourism helicopter service to take off on November 2 Marking the Foundation Day, the state will also launch the PM Shri Aerial Tourism Helicopter Service on November 2. Three-year agreements have been signed with M/s Trans Bharat Aviation for Sector 1, and M/s Jet Serve Aviation Pvt. Ltd. for Sectors 2 and 3. Each helicopter will accommodate at least six passengers. The service is expected to boost adventure, heritage, and spiritual tourism, opening a new chapter in the state’s travel infrastructure.
