South Africa-A has taken firm control of the unofficial Test against India-A in Bengaluru. By the end of the second day, the visiting team had built a strong lead of 105 runs in their second innings. The Proteas ended Day 2 at 30 for no loss, after bowling out India-A for 234 runs in their first innings. The day started with India-A in a strong position at 90 without loss, but things quickly turned around as South Africa-A spinner Prenelan Subrayen produced a brilliant spell. His five-wicket haul completely changed the course of the match, helping his team gain a big advantage. Earlier, South Africa-A had scored 309 runs in their first innings, giving them a solid foundation. India-A, led by captain Rishabh Pant, had looked confident early on. However, a middle-order collapse meant the hosts lost their way. By the time Subrayen finished his 22-over spell, India-A were bowled out, handing the advantage to the visitors. India’s top order fails after a strong start India-A had begun well, thanks to openers Ayush Mhatre and Sai Sudarshan, who took the score to 90 without loss. Mhatre played an attacking innings of 65 runs off 46 balls, hitting 10 boundaries. However, after his dismissal, wickets fell in quick succession. Sudarshan scored 32 runs but struggled for rhythm.
