Another success has fallen into the kitty of the Madhya Pradesh police, with regard to cyber and online financial crimes. As per a statement released on Thursday by the Madhya Pradesh Police Headquarters (PHQ), the Biaora police of MP’s Rajgarh district has arrested four inter-state ATM fraudsters after an extensive 2,200-kilometre pursuit across Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. The arrests, as per police, were made under the supervision of Superintendent of Police (SP, Biaora), Amit Tolani, following a 72-hour-long operation. Police complaint leads to probe The PHQ officials said that the investigation began on October 13, 2025, when a complainant named Narayan Mongia, a resident of Biaora, reported that two unidentified men had swapped his ATM card at an SBI machine and had withdrawn ₹56,000 fraudulently. Acting swiftly, the police registered a case and began a probe. Accused traced through CCTV footage, cyber analysis The police analysed over 200 CCTV footage recordings and, with the help of the Cyber Cell, traced the suspects’ movements using technical surveillance and location analysis. The investigation led cops to Shamli and Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh and Faridabad in Haryana, where the accused were eventually caught. The arrested individuals have been identified as: Multiple valuables seized from the accused The police seized 118 fake ATM cards, a sedan car, and recovered the stolen amount (₹56,000) from the accused. Senior police officials confirmed that all four individuals are part of an organised interstate fraud network. Action a part of state-wide cyber security campaign The Madhya Pradesh Police have achieved several such breakthroughs recently. In separate operations, Narsinghgarh Police travelled 3,500 km to West Bengal to arrest a fraud accused, while Mandsaur Police seized 21 four-wheelers worth ₹1 crore from another fraud network.
