A police team was attacked by villagers in Gajana Dharampur, Panna district, on Wednesday night. Station In-charge Mahendra Singh Bhadauria and Constable Ram Niranjan Kushwaha were seriously injured. Pancham is accused in a case of culpable homicide not amounting to murder. As soon as the team reached the village, a dispute broke out. Villagers attack police Around 40 to 50 villagers surrounded the officers and attacked them. During the assault, Station In-charge Bhadauria and Constable Kushwaha were taken hostage. Eight other policemen fled the village, leaving their weapons behind to save their lives. They immediately informed the police control room about the attack.
