MP’s cops shine at ‘All India Police Sports Competition 2025’:Officers claim gold, silver and bronze medals; DGP Makwana extends congratulations

The officers posted in Madhya Pradesh Police brought laurels to the state recently, by excelling at the ‘All India Police Games 2025’. The participating cops won multiple medals across powerlifting, yoga and martial arts events. The five-day national-level competition was held in Amravati city of Andhra Pradesh, from October 13 to 17, 2025, with participants from police departments across India. Powerlifting glory for police constable from Mandsaur Under the leadership of Additional Superintendent of Police Kamla Rawat, who served as team manager, Constable Bhim Shankar from MP’s Mandsaur district delivered an exceptional performance in the 105 kg powerlifting category, securing a Gold Medal and bringing national recognition to Madhya Pradesh Police. Female cops shine in Yoga Championship At the same event, Head Constable Babli Khakhre from the Crime Branch (DCRB), Indore, showcased remarkable skill in the Single Artistic Yoga Asana event, clinching a bronze medal. Meanwhile, Sub-Inspector Poonam Sharma from the Government Railway Police (GRP), Indore, displayed exceptional yoga proficiency in the Traditional Yoga Asana (Singles) event, to return with a silver medal. Success continues in Judo Cluster 2025 In the All India Judo Cluster 2025, held in Jammu Kashmir from October 8 to 16, several officers from Madhya Pradesh Police demonstrated outstanding talent. DGP praises dedication and discipline of winners After the cops achieved the feat, MP’s Director General of Police (DGP) Kailash Makwana congratulated all the medal-winning officers for their dedication, discipline, and hard work.
