A 25-year-old man, Rajesh Mishra, committed suicide at a hotel in Chhatarpur after losing his brother in a road accident. Before taking his life, he recorded a video explaining his grief and saying he wanted to be with his brother. The incident has shocked the local community, and police are investigating the case. Suicide at Hum Hotel The incident took place at Hum Hotel on Bamitha Jhansi Fourlane. Rajesh Mishra stayed in a room at the hotel late on Monday night. On Tuesday morning, he shot himself. His body has been sent for post-mortem. Grief over brother’s death Rajesh had been depressed since his brother, Dhirendra Arjariya, died in a road accident on October 13. Dhirendra was Rajesh’s cousin and close companion since childhood. Rajesh used to live at his aunt’s house in Ramnagar village and was working in Goa before the incident. Video message before death Before his death, Rajesh made a video in which he spoke about his brother and his state of mind. In the video, he said he had lost appetite and sleep, and that all his desires were gone. He expressed that he wanted to join his brother and assured friends and family that there was no need to worry. He also mentioned his faith in Mahakal and said he hoped to be reborn and meet everyone again. Police statement Kotwali police station in-charge Arvind Dangi confirmed the timeline of events. He said Rajesh arrived at the hotel late Monday night and shot himself on Tuesday morning. The police are investigating the circumstances of the case.
