Rishabh Pant is all set to make his international comeback as he will captain the India A squad for the upcoming two-match series against South Africa A. BCCI have announced the comeback date of the wicketkeeper batter who suffered a toe fracture against England. Pant batted against England with a fractured toe and has since been recuperating at the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence. Having received thumbs up on his fitness, the southpaw will lead India A later this month. Rishabh Pant ready for comeback The England tour was a memorable series for Pant, who scored 479 runs, including a century in both his innings at Headingley. India A will play two four-day games against South Africa A. The first match is scheduled from 30 October to 2 November, while the second match will be played from 6 to 9 November. Both fixtures will be played at the Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru. Senior Test team stars KL Rahul, Mohammed Siraj Prasidh Krishna will feature directly in the second match. Among notable omissions was Sarfaraz Khan, who has lost a lot of weight since the England tour, but he was left out.
