2 habitual vehicle thieves, one minor held by police:Stolen two-wheelers, cell phone worth Rs 4 lakh seized; trio caught during patrolling

The Kamla Nagar Police of Bhopal on Thursday collared two notorious vehicle thieves along with a minor for a series of vehicle thefts and snatching incidents in the city, they said. According to the police, stolen property worth Rs 4 lakh, including four two-wheelers and a mobile phone, has been recovered from the accused. Multiple complaints of vehicle theft lead to probe Kamla Nagar police station in-charge Nirupa Pandey said that several theft cases had been registered at the police station following complaints from local residents. Trio caught during patrol During an area patrol on October 14, 2025, police constables posted at the Kamla Nagar police station, Deepak Katiyar, Manoj Jothe, Balram Raghuvanshi and Chandan Pandey spotted three suspicious youths wandering near Naya Basera.
