A youth in Piplani police station area in Bhopal passed away after an alleged police assault​​​​​​. The deceased has been identified as Udit, son of Rajkumar Gaiki, a private hospital director, and his mother, a teacher, was a student at TIT College. His brother-in-law, the DSP, is currently posted in Balaghat. The incident reportedly occurred during a late-night party, and CCTV footage of the event has surfaced. According to reports, the victim, Udit, lost consciousness after the alleged beating and was rushed to AIIMS Hospital by friends, where doctors declared him dead. Following the incident, a heavy police force was deployed at the hospital. The exact cause of death will be confirmed only after the post-mortem report. Family allegations and police response The family alleges that Udit was beaten both at the scene and later at the police station, which worsened his condition. Police, however, claim that Udit suffered an attack due to panic, and he was not brought to the station. Incident details The incident took place around 2:30 AM in C-Sector, Indrapuri, where Udit and his friends were reportedly dancing and making noise. The local police Charlie team arrived at the scene, allegedly caught Udit and his friends, and assaulted them before taking action.
