Minister Sarang reviews preparations for Khelo MP Youth Games:Oversees arrangements for Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026, Unity March too

Madhya Pradesh’s minister for Cooperation, Sports and Youth Welfare, Vishwas Kailash Sarang on Monday chaired a meeting with senior department officials at the ministry in Bhopal to review preparations for upcoming key programmes, such as the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026, Khelo MP Youth Games, and the Unity March. He instructed officials to prepare a time-bound and effective action plan for the smooth execution of these events, a statement issued by his office read. Khelo MP Youth Games to be held in December-January In the meeting, it was informed that the Khelo MP Youth Games will be held between December 2025 and January 2026. Competitions will be organised across 27 sports disciplines at block, district, divisional and state levels. Divisional headquarters will host the state-level events, with winners moving on to represent Madhya Pradesh at the national level. Minister Sarang emphasised that the games aim to promote a sports culture, identify young sporting talent, and prepare them for national and international platforms. Sports associations will work in coordination to ensure successful conduct of the events. Viksit Bharat Young Leaders dialogue to be held in 4 phases The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue will once again be held in four phases this year. Its core objective is to engage youth in nation-building and translate the vision of a “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India) into action, the Minister said during the meeting. The first phase, a digital quiz, is already underway from September 1 to October 15, 2025, with over 64,590 participants registered in the 15–29 age group. The second phase, scheduled between October 23 and November 5, 2025, will feature a digital essay-writing competition on the MY Bharat portal, requiring a 500-word submission. Selected finalists will eventually present their ideas on “Viksit Bharat” before Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Unity march to be taken out on Sardar Patel Jayanti The minister, thereafter, reviewed the preparations for the Unity March on Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Jayanti. District-level processions will highlight Patel’s ideals, his contribution to nation-building, and the message of “Ek Bharat, Atmanirbhar Bharat” and “Swadeshi”. Minister Sarang said these events would inspire the youth of Madhya Pradesh to actively participate in shaping the nation’s future.
