The cough syrup linked to the deaths of nine children in Chhindwara, MP, contains poisonous chemicals, confirmed by the Tamil Nadu government. An investigation at Shreeson Company’s Kanchipuram unit revealed that Coldrif cough syrup has 48.6% diethylene glycol, a toxic chemical.
