In Satna, three workers were exposed to toxic methane gas while cleaning a sewer, leaving one dead and two unconscious. The incident occurred Thursday afternoon near Triveni Palace in the Kripalpur area. Bystanders at the scene used ropes and an ambulance with oxygen cylinders to pull all three workers out and rushed them to the hospital. Doctors declared one worker dead, while the other two are undergoing treatment. Eyewitnesses alleged that all three workers had entered the sewer without any safety equipment. Second incident in 4 days This is the second case in four days of workers falling ill due to toxic gas in Satna’s sewer lines. Earlier, on September 22, near Kristukula School, two employees of PC Snehil Company were manually cleaning a sewer when their health deteriorated. On Thursday, once again in Kripalpur, Ain Virat Company sent three workers into the sewer without proper safety equipments. This news is continuously being updated..
