Conservative activist Charlie Kirk, a close ally of Donald Trump, was fatally shot while addressing an event at Utah Valley University. Security expert Kris Herzog had warned Kirk months prior of a potential assassination attempt, urging him to take safety precautions. Herzog expressed regret that Kirk did not heed his warnings.
