Central green nod not needed for constructions of 20,000-150,000 sqm

The Supreme Court has reactivated stalled construction projects, including housing, industrial sheds, and educational institutions, with covered areas between 20,000 and 1,50,000 square meters. These projects can now proceed with clearance from the State Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA), exempting them from central environmental clearance.
