Hyderabad sixth cleanest city, bags 7-star garbage-free tag

Hyderabad has significantly improved its cleanliness ranking, securing sixth place among cities with over a million residents in the Swachh Survekshan 2024-25. The city also achieved a prestigious 7-star garbage-free certification, marking its best performance since Telangana’s formation. Simultaneously, the Secunderabad Cantonment Board was recognized as the cleanest among 58 cantonments nationwide for its solid waste management efforts.
