Felix Baumgartner, the celebrated Austrian skydiver known for his historic 2012 supersonic jump, tragically passed away in a paragliding accident in Porto Sant’Elpidio, Italy. The 56-year-old lost control mid-air, possibly due to a medical issue, and crashed into a hotel pool. Baumgartner’s death has deeply saddened the extreme sports community.
