Patiala court orders seizure of municipal corporation building, assets over ex-staffer’s dues

A Patiala court has ordered the attachment of the municipal corporation’s office building and assets, including the commissioner’s car, due to unpaid dues of Rs 3.2 lakh to the family of a deceased employee. Despite previous court orders and a Supreme Court dismissal of their appeal, the corporation failed to fully compensate Varinderjit Singh’s family, leading to this action.
