The CID has apprehended Saroj Shiswant Thorat, director of Eagle Expert Immigration Consultancy, for allegedly defrauding approximately 100 unemployed youth of Rs 5 crore with false promises of jobs in Malta. Saroj, along with her husband, operated the consultancy in Maredpally and conspired with another consultancy in KPHB to commit the offenses.
