Gold and silver prices rose on July 27, according to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA). Silver prices increased by ₹2,050 to ₹2.25 lakh per kilogram, while the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold rose by ₹751 to ₹1.45 lakh. Gold prices could rise further to ₹1.60 lakh per 10 grams by the end of this year.
