On Monday night, a bus coming to Ujjain hit two cows sitting on the road near Balram Jat Dhaba in Panth Piplai, Ujjain. Both cows died as a result. After this, the villagers became enraged. They first safely disembarked the passengers, then pelted stones, breaking the bus windows, and set the bus on fire. The entire bus was burnt to ashes. The bus is said to belong to Indore MLA Golu Shukla. The fire caused a commotion at the spot and chaos erupted on the Ujjain-Indore Road.
