Heavy rain alert in 23 districts of MP today:Monsoon raining heavily in July; 6.4 inches of water fallen so far

Monsoon is raining heavily in Madhya Pradesh. So far, an average of 6.4 inches of water has fallen. On Sunday, more than 20 districts received heavy rain, while on Monday, a total of 23 districts are on alert for very heavy and heavy rain. According to the Meteorological Centre (IMD) Bhopal, on Monday, Sagar, Damoh, Betul, Dewas, Alirajpur, Umaria, Seoni, Chhindwara, and Anuppur are on Orange Alert for very heavy rain. Ratlam, Ujjain, Dhar, Shajapur, Sehore, Vidisha, Guna, Narmadapuram, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Mandla, Balaghat, Dindori, and Panna may experience heavy rain. Meanwhile, Gwalior, Bhind, Morena, Datia, Shivpuri, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Satna, Rewa, Mauganj, Sidhi, Singrauli, Maihar, Shahdol, Ashoknagar, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Jhabua, Barwani, Khargone, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Harda, Agar-Malwa, Rajgarh, and Bhopal may also experience heavy to light rain in some places. According to the Meteorological Department, Chhindwara recorded over two and a half inches of rainfall. Seoni, Ujjain, and Sheopur received three-quarters of an inch, while Tikamgarh-Gwalior received half an inch of rain. Meanwhile, Datia, Guna, Indore, Rajgarh, Jabalpur, Mandla, Narsinghpur, Rewa, Sagar, Sidhi, Balaghat, Shajapur, Bhind, Vidisha, Sehore, Mandsaur, Pandhurna also experienced spells of storms and rain. Alirajpur has received the least rainfall, with only 1 inch.
