Three friends died in a road accident after a speeding bus hit their motorcycle in Ashoknagar district on Thursday evening. The accident took place near Sonera village under the Kachnar police station limits. According to police, the impact was so powerful that the three men were thrown 5–10 feet into the air and landed about 20–25 feet away on the road. All three suffered severe head injuries and died at the scene. The victims have been identified as Mokam Prajapati, Phool Singh Mehta, and Sunil Shikari, all residents of Kyapur village in Aron police station area of Guna district. They were returning to their village when their motorcycle collided head-on with a Balaji bus coming from the opposite direction. Eyewitnesses describe horrifying scene Local residents said the crash was extremely severe. The victims were thrown off the motorcycle and dragged across the road after the impact. The road was covered in blood, and the area was filled with panic as villagers rushed to help. Witnesses said the three men lay on the road for around 30 minutes after the accident. They were critically injured and died shortly afterwards. Bus seized, driver absconding The bus driver stopped the vehicle after the accident but later fled the spot, police said. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination. Police have seized the bus and launched an investigation. Efforts are underway to trace and arrest the absconding driver.
