A group of miscreants broke into a woman’s house on the third floor in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, tied her hands and feet, assaulted her and looted ₹10,000 in cash and a mobile phone. They left her four-month-old daughter in the bathroom and cut off the woman’s braid before fleeing. The incident took place at around 1:40 PM on Monday in the Hanuman Rundi area. At the time, Rupesh Solanki was at his hair salon near Bajna Bus Stand, while his wife Monika was alone on the third floor of their three-storey house with their four-month-old daughter, Kavya.
