With this victory, the West Indies have taken a 1-0 lead in the 2-match series. The second match will be played on July 3. The team started playing on day four, 15/1, and returned to the pavilion in just 32 overs. Notably, eight batters of the Lankan team could not even cross the double-digit mark.
