Udaipur’s Sukher Police arrested a woman for allegedly forcing a businessman to commit suicide. The woman had been absconding for four years. Station officer Bharat Yogi identified the accused as Tina Nat, a resident of Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh. She was arrested from Pipliya Mandi, Madhya Pradesh. There was a reward of ₹10,000 for information on Tina Nat. The police team continuously tracked the accused but she kept changing her location and her mobile was also switched off. Had threatened businessman with rape case Police said Tina had met businessman Piyush Gilundia in connection with renting a house. Tina demanded money from Piyush by threatening to falsely implicate him in molestation and rape cases. Piyush came under so much mental pressure that he committed suicide, police said. ‘Tina made false accusations against me’ At 6 pm on 29 June 2022, Piyush died by suicide by hanging himself at his friend Sunil Bhandari’s house. A suicide note was found. It stated that he was continuously receiving threats from Tina, a resident of Dakshin Vistar Yojana.
