Earlier, the Mehendi ceremony took place on Monday, 22 June. Akash Deep is set to marry Akshita Raj on Wednesday at Hotel Taj Ganges in Varanasi. The wedding ceremony will be attended only by close family members, and media access has been restricted. Several personalities from the cricketing world are also expected to attend the event. She is seen displaying intricate mehendi designs on her hands as part of the pre-wedding celebrations. During Tuesday’s Haldi ceremony, family members and guests celebrated with traditional songs and rituals. She is the daughter of Amit Kumar Singh, popularly known as Bablu Ji, and Renu Singh, who live in Manikpur under the Indrapuri police station area. Akshita completed her Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) from the Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra. Owing to her strong academic record, she also received a job offer from the institute. However, as marriage discussions progressed during that period, she chose not to take up the position. Marriage finalised with families’ consent According to family sources, the alliance was finalised with the consent of both families. The marriage of Akash Deep and Akshita Raj has been arranged in accordance with traditional customs and rituals, under the guidance and blessings of elders from both families.
