Read the report… Friendship began online, identity revealed after marriage Goldy, a resident of Tamri village in Rewa district, worked at a biscuit factory in Hyderabad. Three years ago, she reportedly met a man who introduced himself as “Prince” through Instagram. Their friendship developed into a relationship, and the two married in a temple in Hyderabad about six months ago. Her family claims that Goldy later discovered his real name was Sahil Khan. Although the revelation initially led to disputes, the couple subsequently underwent a nikah ceremony. Goldy’s mother alleges that Sahil’s family was unhappy with the marriage and frequently harassed her. Family claims communication was cut off According to her parents, Goldy often contacted them whenever she found an opportunity, describing physical abuse and confinement. They allege that after her husband and his family learned she was speaking to her relatives, her SIM card was destroyed, cutting off all communication. The family also claims that Goldy’s hand was burned because her husband disliked a “Mom-Dad” tattoo she had on her arm. Death discovered weeks later Goldy’s father, Teerath Saket, said the family was never informed of her death and continued searching for her for nearly a month. They eventually learned through an acquaintance that she had died and had already been buried. The family alleges that they received no clear information from local authorities regarding her death, raising further suspicions. Body exhumed after 35 days Following requests from the family and administrative procedures, Goldy’s body was exhumed approximately 35 days after burial. Her last rites were then performed according to Hindu traditions, and her ashes were immersed. Her parents described the experience as one of the most painful moments of their lives, saying they had to wait weeks for a final farewell to their daughter. Investigation continues Because the body had remained buried for an extended period, authorities were reportedly unable to determine the exact cause of death during the post-mortem examination. The case now hinges on police investigation, circumstantial evidence, and witness statements. Goldy’s family continues to allege that she was murdered and is seeking justice, while investigators are working to determine how she died and whether any criminal wrongdoing was involved.
