The case of the death of 8-year-old Alina in Bara village under Purani Chhavni police station area of Gwalior has turned out to be a murder. The short postmortem report that came on Friday evening revealed that the child died due to brutal beating. More than 10 serious injuries were found on her body from head to toe, a few of which were internal. The police have taken neighbor Amin Khan into custody and started interrogation. The child had taken out some money from the piggy bank The investigation revealed that on Thursday evening, Alina had gone into neighbor Amin Khan’s empty house while playing. During this time, she took out some money from the piggy bank kept there. Later, when searching, Amin found the child drinking cold drink at a nearby shop. During questioning, she admitted to taking the money and the money was also returned. Amin beat her so much that the girl couldn’t even walk Even after getting the money, Amin’s anger did not subside. It is alleged that he took the girl with him and locked her in a room and beat her mercilessly. The beating was so brutal that when he came to drop Alina home, she couldn’t even walk properly. The family members could not understand the seriousness of her condition and after writhing in pain all night, the girl breathed her last. Her body was found on the bed on Friday morning. Internal organs stopped functioning A special panel of doctors found in the postmortem that the girl’s body had deep and internal injury marks in several places. According to the report, her death occurred due to internal bleeding from excessive beating and organ failure. Murder confirmed in forensic investigation Initially, some people had told the police that Amin had only questioned the girl. This raised concerns that the direction of the investigation might be misled. Following this, the police called forensic expert Dr. Kok Singh to the scene. Based on evidence collected from the crime scene, injury marks found on the body, and scientific examination, a post-mortem was conducted by a special panel, which confirmed the murder.
