Instagram reel captures fatal crash that killed 3:Bike rammed into car in Betul, aunt, nephew among victims

A video has surfaced of the tragic road accident on the Chicholi route in Madhya Pradesh’s Betul district. At the time of the crash, a young man travelling in a Tavera vehicle was recording an Instagram reel. Moments later, a motorcycle collided head-on with the vehicle. The accident claimed the lives of three people, including an aunt and her nephew. The incident occurred around 5.30 am on Tuesday near Tahli Jod. In the video, a passenger inside the Tavera can be seen filming an Instagram reel on his mobile phone. A few seconds later, a motorcycle approaching from the opposite direction crashes directly into the vehicle. The impact was so severe that the front portion of the motorcycle got lodged inside the Tavera, triggering panic and screams at the scene. Kapil Barskar (17) died on the spot, while Khushi Pandagre (22) and Aanchal Sen (23), who suffered serious injuries, died on the way to the district hospital. Khushi and Kapil were related as aunt and nephew. See two pictures of the accident… Aunt and nephew had gone to pick up friend Aanchal Sen, a resident of Kharidhana, had returned from Indore and got down near Tahli Jod on the four-lane highway. Her friend Khushi Pandagre and nephew Kapil Barskar had reached the spot on a motorcycle to pick her up. The three were returning to their village on the same motorcycle when it collided head-on with the Tavera near Tahli Jod. Suspicion of Bike Coming from Wrong Direction Preliminary investigation suggests that the Tavera was travelling in its designated lane, while the motorcycle is suspected to have been coming from the wrong direction. However, the exact cause of the accident will be determined only after the police investigation is completed. The collision completely wrecked the motorcycle, while the Tavera also sustained significant damage. The deceased have been identified as nephew Kapil, aunt Khushi and Khushi’s friend Aanchal. Police investigating the case Among the victims, Aanchal Sen worked in a private job in Indore, while Khushi Pandagre was a college student. Chicholi Police are examining the viral video and other evidence as part of the investigation. Officials said it will be clear only after the probe is completed whose negligence led to the accident.
