In Indore’s Pandharinath police station area, on Friday too, the police remained engaged in investigating the case of robbery of ₹30 lakh from a scrap dealer. A team of more than 25 police personnel scanned CCTV footage from several markets and roads in the city. The investigation has revealed that the criminals were conducting reconnaissance of the businessman for about an hour before the incident. According to police, criminals disguised as fake policemen committed the robbery with scrap dealer Manay alias Mukesh Agrawal, a resident of Nihalpura. The accused took him along with them and fled with the bag full of money on the way. Criminals followed from the vehicle stand The investigation has revealed that the criminals started following the businessman from the vehicle stand area itself. This is where the businessman first received the payment. After this, the accused kept following him continuously and committed the crime as soon as they got the opportunity. The police have also spotted the accused in the Kotwali police station area. The police already had a suspicion that the entire incident was carried out after reconnaissance. Now, in the investigation, it has become almost clear that the accused were continuously keeping an eye on the businessman’s activities. Police also suspect associates In this case, the police also suspect some people working with the businessman. According to sources, the names of two suspicious criminals have reached the police officers, and their arrest may happen soon. Till late at night, a police team kept searching for the accused in the Gadi Adda and Juni Indore areas.
