In a suspected suicide case in Indore’s Nanda Nagar, a 25-year-old driver died by hanging on Thursday. Before his death, he recorded a video in which he blamed his girlfriend, her sister, brother and a few others for his extreme step. The deceased also sent the video to his brother. In the recording, he said that “boys are not safe” and claimed that they have to sacrifice their lives to prove their love. Police reached the spot after receiving information, but he had already died. Relationship was going on for two years According to Pardeshipura police, the deceased was identified as 25-year-old Lavish Lashkari. He was originally from Ujjain and was living in a rented accommodation in Nanda Nagar. He worked as a driver. Family members said Lavish had been in a relationship with a young woman from Khandwa for nearly two years. In the video, he claimed that the two had been living together for around one-and-a-half years. He further alleged that after the woman’s family came to know about their relationship, they took her away and kept her mobile phone. Allegations made in suicide video In the video, Lavish claimed he was unable to contact the young woman, which caused him severe mental distress. He held his girlfriend, her sister, brother and some other people responsible for his death. Police have seized the video and launched an investigation. The body has been sent for post-mortem, and statements of family members are being recorded. Private employee dies by suicide in Dwarkapuri In another incident, 28-year-old Karan Balai, a resident of Ahirkhedi in the Dwarkapuri area, died by suicide on Thursday. According to police, Karan returned home from work and went to his room. In the evening, his father found him hanging. Family members told police that Karan had married some time ago, but his wife had left him. They said he had been upset over the issue for a long time. Porter found hanging in Azad Nagar A 40-year-old porter, Kanhaiya Jaiswal, also died by suicide in the Azad Nagar area on Thursday night. According to police, Kanhaiya’s wife woke up around 1:30 am to drink water and found him hanging. He is survived by his wife and four children. Preliminary investigation suggests that a domestic dispute may have preceded the incident. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding both cases.
