A routine highway journey turned fatal on Monday morning when a car carrying four young men from Maharashtra crashed head-on into a container on the Mumbai-Agra National Highway near Sendhwa in Madhya Pradesh’s Barwani district. The accident occurred around 7 am, nearly 10 kilometres from Sendhwa city, leaving two dead and two others seriously injured. Police said the victims were travelling towards Indore in a car bearing registration number MH 11 CW 4644. The group hailed from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and Pune in Maharashtra. As the vehicle approached the Jamli Toll Plaza, the driver reportedly lost control. The car crossed the central divider and entered the wrong carriageway, directly into the path of an oncoming container. The impact was so severe that the car was completely mangled, leaving little chance for the occupants to escape unharmed. Another occupant, 28-year-old Aniket Kale, succumbed to his injuries at the government hospital in Sendhwa. The injured have been identified as 25-year-old Bhushan Rajaram of Pune and 26-year-old Aukar Amit of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. Both sustained serious injuries and were shifted to a private hospital for treatment. He had built a strong following on social media, where videos of his explosive batting style frequently attracted attention. Ambulances transported the injured and deceased to hospital. Police have seized the container involved in the accident. However, the container driver reportedly fled the scene immediately after the collision.
