In Madhya Pradesh’s Chhatarpur district, a young man was brutally murdered near the Lawkushnagar Civil Court around 9:30 pm on Saturday night. The attackers slit his throat with a sharp-edged weapon, causing his windpipe to be cut and he died on the spot. The victim’s car was left soaked in blood. The incident took place near the Octoha Tiraaha. According to Lawkushnagar police, the deceased has been identified as 23-year-old K.K. Gupta. He was employed in a government job at the post office. The victim had deep injuries on his neck and other parts of the body. Excessive bleeding from the neck led to his death. See pictures related to the incident The dispute started over a 50 thousand rupee argument An injured person admitted to the district hospital, Satyendra Rajput, stated that Krins Rajput was owed ₹50,000 by Vikky Vishwakarma. Acting on Vikky’s call, Satyendra Rajput and Krins Rajput travelled on Satyendra’s Splendor motorcycle from their village Bagmau, located about 6 km away, to Octoha Tiraaha in Lawkushnagar. Many people were already present at the scene According to Satyendra, Vikky Vishwakarma, his father Buddan Vishwakarma, Manish Yadav and Bharat Dwivedi were already present at the location. When Krins Rajput demanded his money, Vikky refused to pay and began abusing him, also threatening to kill him. Assurance to pay money on May 28 After a prolonged argument, the situation was temporarily brought under control. During this, Vikky assured that the ₹50,000 would be paid on May 28. Meanwhile, K.K. Gupta, who had arrived earlier in a Swift Dzire car driven by Krins Rajput, reached the spot. Dispute escalated and attack during the conversation During the conversation, K.K. Gupta also asked Vikky Vishwakarma to return Krins’s money, which Vikky clearly refused. The argument escalated further. Vikky allegedly threatened to kill him and attacked K.K. Gupta with a knife. Satyendra Rajput and Krins Rajput tried to intervene, but 5–6 people present there held them back. In the meantime, Bharat Dwivedi stabbed Satyendra Rajput in the stomach. After the commotion, the accused fled, the injured were taken to the hospital It was reported that after hearing the commotion, locals gathered at the spot. The accused Vikky Vishwakarma, Buddan Vishwakarma, Manish Yadav and Bharat Dwivedi, along with 8–10 associates, fled the scene. During the chaos, Vikky Vishwakarma slit K.K. Gupta’s throat, leading to heavy bleeding and severe injuries. Locals, including Akash Chaurasia, Prince Rajput and others, rushed the injured to the hospital in the same Swift Dzire car. Doctors declared K.K. Gupta dead on arrival, while critically injured Satyendra Rajput was referred to the district hospital where he is undergoing treatment. Accused identified, some rounded up According to Lawkushnagar SDOP Naveen Dubey, the accused have been identified as Vikky Vishwakarma, Guddan Vishwakarma, Bharat Dwivedi and Manish Yadav. Some individuals have been detained, while others are still absconding. Separate teams have been formed to conduct raids and arrest the remaining accused.
