The bodies of a father and his two children were found in a well in Jaramohgaon village under Balaghat district’s Katangi police station area on Wednesday. The bodies of both children were tied to their father’s body with a cloth towel. Police have sent the bodies for postmortem and started an investigation. Shyam Nagendra, son of Bhagwat and a resident of Jaramohgaon, worked as an LIC agent. Among the deceased are his son Vansh (5) and daughter Bhoori (3). Shyam had left home with his two children between 8:30 pm and 9 pm on Tuesday night. When he did not return for a long time, family members became worried. Since two weddings were taking place in the village, they initially thought he might have gone there with the children. Bike found near ground, bodies seen floating in well After several hours, family members began searching for him. His motorcycle was found parked near the village ground, raising fears of something untoward. After receiving information, police also launched a search operation. A short distance away, Shyam’s slippers were found near a well without a boundary wall. On Wednesday, the bodies of all three were recovered from the same well. Bodies pulled out of well with help of cot A large crowd gathered at the spot after the incident. With the help of villagers, police used a cot to pull out the bodies of Shyam, Vansh and Bhoori from the well. The children’s bodies were tied to their father with a cloth towel. According to information, Shyam had earlier worked as a computer operator at Sahara Bank. After the company shut down, he started working as an LIC agent. The reason behind the suspected suicide with his children is not yet clear. Police said all angles are being investigated. Insta story read ‘No desire to live’ It has come to light that the deceased had posted “No desire to live” on his Instagram story. He had also shared an emotional video carrying the message: “There is no desire to stay alive, I do not want any promise or relationship.” Police are investigating the deaths from every possible angle. Villagers said that if Shyam wanted to die by suicide, he should have done it alone and questioned what fault the children had. Police recovered all three bodies and sent them to Katangi Hospital for postmortem. Police say reason will be clear after probe SDOP Vikas Singh said the bodies of the father and his two children were recovered from the well and sent for postmortem. He said the exact cause behind the deaths would become clear only after the postmortem report and investigation. A case has been registered and further probe is underway.
