A case of abduction of a young woman and her three-month-old daughter has come to light in Shivpuri’s Kotwali police station area. The woman’s live-in partner, along with 8 to 10 of his associates, carried out this entire incident. The accused entered the house with weapons and, after assaulting the family members, forcibly put the mother and daughter in a car and took them away. The police have registered a case of abduction and the SC-ST Act against the main accused and others. Neelam Guhariya, who lives near Shivpuri Public School, told the police that her 22-year-old daughter, Mahak, had been in a live-in relationship with Pushpendra Chauhan, a resident of Karera, in Indore, for three years. The couple also has a three-month-old daughter named Arohi. Pushpendra used to harass her, so Mahak had been staying with her parents in Shivpuri along with her daughter for some time. Entered the house with hockey sticks and clubs According to Neelam, on the night of May 8 at around 8:35 PM, Pushpendra entered their house with his associates carrying weapons, hockey sticks, and clubs. The accused verbally abused the family members with casteist slurs and brutally assaulted them. During this, the accused also pushed a girl child present in the house, as a result of which Neelam and her husband Triptesh were injured. Taken away in a White Wagon R car After the assault, the accused forcibly took Mahak and her child away in a white Wagon R car. They also threatened to kill the family members if they tried to follow. This entire incident was also captured on the CCTV camera installed in the house. The Kotwali police have registered a case against Pushpendra and his associates under various sections of the BNS and the SC-ST Act and have started further investigation.
