Seven-year-old girl gang-raped and murdered:Mouth held shut till death, body hidden in haystack; 2 accused arrested

A seven-year-old girl was gang-raped and then strangled to death in Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh. The accused kept the girl’s mouth pressed until she died. After the murder, the body was hidden in a haystack. Both fled after the incident. According to information, the girl had left home around 7 pm on Tuesday to buy something from a shop, but did not return until late at night. When the family started searching, villagers also joined in. Everyone started looking for the girl together. Girl’s body found in the threshing floor After extensive searching in the surrounding area, the child’s body was found late at night in a barn in the village. After finding the body, the family informed Dial 112. Upon receiving the information, Un Police Station in-charge Dinesh Solanki reached the spot with his team. To hide her identity, she was strangled to death. To conceal the crime, the body was hidden. Society demanded hanging Society representative Baliram Verma said that there is anger among the local people after the incident. The accused should be sentenced to death by hanging, so that no criminal dares to commit such a crime again. Police arrested two accused According to Additional SP Shakuntala Rahar, two accused were taken into custody. The accused were interrogated strictly. Both confessed to the crime. A case has been registered against the accused under gangrape, murder and POCSO Act. Both the accused have been arrested.
