Today, the Congress is holding a march demanding the Nari Shakti Vandan Act and 33 per cent reservation for women. More than 1,000 workers are taking part in the foot march. Under the leadership of PCC Chief Jitu Patwari and Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar, Congress workers are marching on foot from Platinum Plaza to Roshanpura Square. A large number of workers, including State Mahila Congress President Reena Bourasi Setia, have joined the march. The party is demanding that 33 per cent reservation should be applied immediately to the existing 543 Lok Sabha seats. CM said – Congress’s five generations committed injustice against women In response to this march, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has launched a sharp attack on Congress. The CM said that since independence, Congress has always adopted a negative attitude towards women empowerment. Referring to Indira Gandhi, Rahul, and Priyanka Gandhi, he said that the country will never forget the injustice that Congress’s five generations have done to women. The Chief Minister, calling Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision to provide 33 percent reservation historic, said that Congress and its allies SP, TMC, and DMK played a role in undermining this act.
