On Wednesday morning, a truck loaded with rebar lost control on National Highway-39 near Nemua Mod in the Rampur Baghelan police station area of Satna district, broke through the divider, and fell into a canal. The driver, the cleaner, and one labourer died on the spot in the accident. The truck was badly damaged and bodies were trapped inside. The police straightened the truck with a crane and recovered two bodies. The third body was stuck in the truck’s body, for which a cutter machine had to be used to extract it. According to the police, 2 out of 3 people involved in the accident have been identified. These include Dilip Kewat (father Rajesh Kewat), a resident of Padri village in Maihar district, and Vishnu Kewat (father Makhanlal Kewat), a resident of Ramgarh. The third deceased person has not yet been identified, and efforts are ongoing.
