Strict action has been initiated by the district administration and police in Gwalior against those developing illegal colonies. In this connection, FIRs were registered against colonisers in two separate cases on Tuesday night in the Purani Chhawani and Tighra police station areas. The allegation is that colonies were being developed and plots sold without permission, NOC, or layout approval. According to police, an FIR was registered at Tighra police station against coloniser Naresh, son of Lal Singh Kirar, based on an application by Patwari Rahul Jain of Halka village Jigsouli, Tehsil Kulaith. Naresh Kirar was allegedly developing an illegal colony on land bearing survey numbers 1172/1, 1172/2, 1174/1, 1174/2, 1175/1, 1175/2 in village Jigsouli under the gram panchayat area. He had not taken permission for colony development on this land. He neither got himself registered as a coloniser nor obtained layout approval from Town and Country Planning. Plots were being carved out and sold, and several people had already purchased plots there to build their dream homes. FIR registered against these in the second case In another case, Purani Chhawani police registered an FIR against Satyabhan Singh Narwaria, Abhilakh Singh Narwaria and other accused, including directors of Harikrishna Properties Pvt Ltd. They are accused of illegally developing a colony on land in village Susera bearing survey numbers 870/2, 871/2, 872/1, 872/2/1, 872/2/2, 872/6, 872/7/1, 873, 874, 875/1, 875/2, 919, 920/1, 930, 931, 932, 944/1, 944/2. Plots were allegedly being sold without any permission or approval. Shyam Sundar Singh of Maa Vaishnopuram AV Road, Birlanagar; Taradevi of Bhagat Singh Nagar, Bhind Road; and Pran Singh of Pratappura, Tehsil Gormi, District Bhind have also been named as accused. Police Statement Police said the cases were registered following a complaint by the district administration against those who developed illegal colonies without permission or NOC and allegedly misled buyers.
