Elon Musk’s EV company Tesla India has launched its longest length SUV Model Y L in the Indian market. This is a more spacious and three-row version of Tesla’s first car in India, the ‘Model Y’. The biggest feature of this car is its 681km range and 6-seater seating layout. The ex-showroom starting price of Tesla Model Y L is ₹61.99 lakh. This is approximately ₹2.10 lakh more expensive than the standard Model Y (₹59.89 lakh). The company has started bookings for the car and customers will also receive deliveries soon. Exterior Design: 19-inch Aero Wheels and Sleek Look In terms of design, the Model Y L looks quite similar to the standard version, but some special changes have been made: Size and Dimensions: 150mm Longer Wheelbase The main attraction of Model Y L is its increased size. This car is 179 millimeters longer than the standard model. Its wheelbase size has also been increased by 150 millimeters. The car’s height has also been increased by 44 millimeters. Due to the large ‘glasshouse’ (window area), it can be easily recognized on the road. Interior and Features: 16-inch Touchscreen and Panoramic Roof Inside the cabin, Tesla’s signature ‘minimal’ theme has been given. The most special feature is the large 16-inch touchscreen infotainment system, through which almost all functions of the car are controlled.
