Anupam Kher visits Ujjain:Offers prayers at Mahakal Temple; Shubhangi Dutta and singer Ninja also accompany him

Bollywood actor Anupam Kher, Tanvi – The Great fame actress Shubhangi Dutt, and Punjabi singer-actor Amit Bhalla, popularly known as ‘Ninja’, visited the Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain on Tuesday and offered prayers. The celebrities participated in different rituals at the temple and sought blessings from Lord Mahakal. Participation in temple Aarti Anupam Kher and Shubhangi Dutta attended the Bhog Aarti, while singer Amit Bhalla took part in the early morning Bhasma Aarti held at around 4 AM. All three participated in the religious rituals inside the temple premises. Late-night arrival in Ujjain Amit Bhalla arrived at the Mahakal Temple around 2 AM and spent nearly two hours in the Nandi Hall before attending the Bhasma Aarti. During the ritual, he also performed worship of Nandi and, following tradition, whispered his wishes into the deity’s ear. Darshan and Experience After attending the Bhog Aarti, Kher and Shubhangi Dutta visited other shrines within the temple complex. Speaking with Dainik Bhaskar on the occasion, Anupam Kher said the visit gave him a deeply peaceful experience and praised the temple administration. He added that the court of Lord Mahakal brings a sense of spiritual purification. Actress Shubhangi Dutta said it was her first visit to the Mahakal Temple and that she had come specifically to seek the blessings of Lord Mahakal.
