MLA Pritam Lodhi faces backlash over offensive remarks:IPS Association says, ‘public representatives must act responsibly, condemn threats against SDOP and family’

Madhya Pradesh’s Pichhore MLA Pritam Singh Lodhi has come under fire for making indecent remarks against Karera SDOP Dr. Ayush Jakhar, with the controversy now escalating. The Madhya Pradesh IPS Association has issued a press note strongly condemning the MLA’s conduct. The row erupted after a video surfaced on social media showing Lodhi using highly objectionable, undignified, and threatening language against the police officer. The remarks were not limited to Dr. Jakhar alone but also targeted his family, drawing widespread criticism. IPS Association raises a strong objection The IPS Association has clarified in its official letter that the use of such language by a public representative is against democratic values. The main points of the Association are as follows: ‘Unfortunate’ coincidence on Civil Service Day The special thing is that the Association has expressed deep sorrow that this press note has to be issued on 21st April, i.e., on ‘Civil Service Day’. Association President Chanchal Shekhar (ADG) said in the signed note that it is extremely unfortunate that on a day when the contribution of civil servants should be honored, such misbehavior occurs with a service officer.
